Monday (Dec 26th) |
Morning | Gumdrop Structures: Explore delicious geometry as we make and compare various 3D shapes. How strong can gumdrops be? | Robotics: With Lego Mindstorms you'll build and program a robot. You'll learn the basics of programming then set your creation loose! |
Break | Gingerbread: One's hard and crunchy, the other soft and moist. Which is tougher? |
Afternoon | Papercraft & Animation: Create paper creatures and then use them as characters in a stop-motion movie. |

Morning | Candles and Light: Learn about the long history of artificial light and the hunt for lumens, then make a charm candle of your own! | Robotics: With Lego Mindstorms you'll build and program a robot. You'll learn the basics of programming then set your creation loose! |

Vacation Week Tuition
Dates: | Dec 26th - 30th. Program hours: 9:00am-4:00pm. Daily Schedule: Morning is one science class and one technology class, followed by lunch and recess. We then get back to learning with a fun educational activity in the afternoon. |
Extended hours: | Extended AM hours are offered starting at 8:15am at an
additional cost of $8 per day. Extended PM hours are offered from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at an additional cost of $8 per half hour. |
