Vacation Program Descriptions
Monday (April 14th) |
Morning | Lava Lamp:Make a cool lava sculpture in a bottle. Add a secret ingredient and see the lava begin to bubble and change. | Robotics: With Lego Mindstorms you'll build and program a robot. You'll learn the basics of programming then set your creation loose! |
Break | Molten Cake: A little heat can make a whole lot of difference. |
Afternoon | Lego Contraptions/Animation: Create moving gear-filled contraptions or use stop motion to make a video where anything can move. |
Tuesday (April 18th) |
Morning | Fossil Fun:Use molds to make your own fossils from plaster of paris and jello! While the mold set we'll dig up some fossils. | Robotics: With Lego Mindstorms you'll build and program a robot. You'll learn the basics of programming then set your creation loose! |

Vacation Week Tuition
Dates: | April 14th, 18th - 21st. Program hours: 9:00am-4:00pm. Daily Schedule: Morning is one science class and one technology class, followed by lunch and recess. We then get back to learning with a fun educational activity in the afternoon. |
Extended hours: | Extended AM hours are offered starting at 8:15am at an
additional cost of $8 per day. Extended PM hours are offered from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at an additional cost of $8 per half hour. |
