6/27 - 7/1 (Week 2)
Morning Gross Anatomy: What makes living things tick? You'll explore vertebrate physiology from the cellular level to the organ systems, how they work and what they look like. You'll also learn about the yucky stuff like parasites and mucus. This class includes microscope work and dissection. Lego Robotics: Use Lego Technic and the MINDSTORMS programming system to build and program your own robotic inventions! Using motors, sensors and imagination, we'll work on projects like art-bots, maze-runners, creature-bots, robo-soccer, and others!
Afternoon Wizards and Warriors: You are searching old ruins by the light of a flickering torch. Suddenly a giant troll steps out of the shadows, and he looks mad! What will you do? Run, fight, cast a spell? The choice is yours as you and your friends play heroes in a fantasy world using the Dungeons and Dragons rules. Search dark dungeons, solve insidious riddles, fight monstrous evil and finally escape with the fabulous treasure. Make sure to bring your imagination!

7/5 - 7/8 (Week 3)
Morning Crimebuster: There's been a crime at SET School! It's up to you, Detective, to investigate the crime scene, collect clues, analyze the evidence and catch the criminal. How do police use forensic techniques to solve crimes? You'll learn chemical tests, how to lift and read fingerprints, what to do with microscopic evidence, and how to hone your powers of observation when conducting a crime scene investigation. Stop Motion Animation: An egg-shaped blob of clay transforms into a fire-breathing dragon! Learn how to create the illusion of motion with everyday materials like Legos, toys, clay, and paper cutouts. Bring your creative ideas to life with stop-motion animation software and your imagination.
Afternoon Wind-Powered Robot: Learn about Theo Jansen's amazing wind-powered creations and build your own replica of the wind-powered strandbeest.

7/25 - 7/29 (Week 4)
Morning Alchemist Guild: What was chemistry like in the Middles Ages? Alchemists studied herbs, metals and magic to uncover the mysteries of life. Despite some wacky ideas, they laid the groundwork for real chemistry and medicine, as we'll see when we try our hand at medieval chemistry. Lego Robotics: Use Lego Technic and the MINDSTORMS programming system to build and program your own robotic inventions! Using motors, sensors and imagination, we'll work on projects like art-bots, maze-runners, creature-bots, robo-soccer, and others!

8/15 - 8/19 (Week 5)
Morning Pokemania: Love Pokemon? We'll delve into the strange origins of the many Pokemon species.. Work out the ecology and physics of the Pokemon world, then try your hand at hacking the code of the original games! Lego Robotics: Use Lego Technic and the MINDSTORMS programming system to build and program your own robotic inventions! Using motors, sensors and imagination, we'll work on projects like art-bots, maze-runners, creature-bots, robo-soccer, and others!
Afternoon Flight: How does an airplane stay up? How does a helicopter work? How do birds, bats, and butterflies fly? Learn about the science of aeronautics while making all sorts of different flying toys.

8/22 - 8/26 (Week 6)
Morning Moon Mission: Humans landed on the Moon in 1969, and went back five more times. Learn about the Moon, the Apollo program, our new mission, Artemis, and what it takes to be an astronaut. Lego Robotics: Use Lego Technic and the MINDSTORMS programming system to build and program your own robotic inventions! Using motors, sensors and imagination, we'll work on projects like art-bots, maze-runners, sumo-bots, robo-soccer, and others!
Afternoon It's About Time: How did ancient people tell time? What were the first clocks like? Is time travel possible? Why do sailors need good clocks? We'll learn about time and timepieces as we build our own clocks.

8/29 - 8/30 (Week 7)
Morning Plastic Play: Shrinky-dinks! Creepy Crawlers! Have fun making your own toys out of marvelous polymers! Lego MOC: In Legospeak, MOC stands for My Own Creation. Let your imagination loose in this fun class. We'll check out some awesome MOCs created by Master Builders, then we'll build our own fabulous creations.
Afternoon Circuit Solving: Learn about the different paths electicity can take and how to use it to make different kinds of machines with Snap Circuits.




Summer Tuition

Dates & Daily Schedule: Weeks of June 20, June 27, July 5, July 25, Aug 15, Aug 22.
Program hours: 9:00am-4:00pm.

Each morning includes a science class (1.5 hours) and a robotics or technology class (1.5hours) with a snack break in between. After lunch and recess is the afternoon program.
Extended hours: Extended AM hours are offered from 8:15am to 8:45am at an additional cost of $8.
Extended PM hours are offered from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at an additional cost of $8 per half hour.
Cost: Per week tuition: $445, July 5-8 week $360.
Per day tuition: $95.
Tuition payment: A $50 non-refundable deposit per week is due at registration. The remaining $395 can be paid at any point between registration and the first day of enrollment.
