Our Science Program
S.E.T. School believes that the sciences (biology, chemistry, astronomy, physics) are interrelated and should be taught in an integrated fashion. Each class covers topics relevant to all scientific fields.
We introduce theory through real life applications so students can understand the material without having to memorize it. The "spiral" approach seeks to supplement familiar concepts with new ones to prepare children for more advanced challenges. Early integrated science education allows children to build the solid and wide foundation required to support new and more complicated concepts.
In our science classes students explore, question, investigate and experiment. Even very young children can ask questions, form hypotheses, conduct experiments and come to conclusions. We work to challenge each child to her/his fullest potential.
